Here are some important reasons for which every employee must read their pay stub as soon as they receive it from their employer.

Check out your name, paid time balance, social security number, pay rate as well as all other information. Review it and save the paycheck stub for future use. It is better to review at this time because if you find some mistake it can be undone quickly.

2.    Deductions and benefits – every employee must keep an eye on the deduction of benefits that include dental, health and others and always ensure that they are accurately calculated. If you don’t find such benefits in paystub then there are chances that you are actually not enrolled in the benefits plan of the company.

3.    Number of hours worked – it is very hard for a salary based employee to look out for the hour’s number they are working. Hourly workers must keep track of the hours that they work and then compare the data of the pay stub with the real one and this is how you will get a clear information.
